no little babbies here
I really don't know how I was being a "baby". I was just hoping to not be trapped with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapon.
The beauty of the community system is that you can control which threads you want to look at. So, really, to complain about other peoples threads being too fivolous is really more of a personal problem more than anything.
Yeah thats what I have pretty much concluded. And you're right, it is helpful to have two different specialized weapon types. I have using a Scar-L and a Carbine and it works out really well against the cleaners with their gas tanks.
There are certain times in the game that you can only use your sidearm...so even if you never use outside these times you kindda need it...
Let me explain why: in some missions, you will risk running out of ammunition for your primary weapon. Having just a pistol, at that point, would be pretty much "just shoot yourself in thehead and save thet enemy's ammo".
If you want vry similar weapons - get an Assault Rifle and either an LMG or an SMG. Those will play similarly, and you can just keep your secondary as an "oh crap outta bullets" option.
