The controller works at start up (most of the time) but then randomly stop functioning entirely after a load screen or going down in game or just at random. Please... fix this Ubi..

Xbox One and Xbox One Elite. Literally works fine with every game I have on my pc, even Wildlands, but Division just stops my controller from functioning entirely after doing something or dying or just playing normally.. hell even idling stops it from working.

Lol.. yeah that doesn't work. It's been a known problem for awhile now and I'm surprised Ubisoft hasnt fixed it yet.

I have Xbox one controller as well and I had same issue, but not just in Division and I fixed it by putting wirelles adapter in to the different usb, the problem was caused by powering issues in different usb slots...

Mine is connected through wired USB, but this doesnt happen at all with my other games, it's JUST The Division.

1700 hours with a controller and no issues. You download the latest microsoft/xbox drivers for windows?
Halo Jul 7, 2017 @ 2:08am
Yeah, everything's up to date, and my PC was built with Windows 10 so all the drivers I need are already installed and updated. It's something with Division, I've looked it up and it seems to have been a known issue for a year now. I have really no issues at all with every single game that I have except Division. Idk what it is. It'll work perfectly for a good while, but something happening in the game or just tabbing out will mess up everything and force me to use keyboard and mouse. I really have no idea why its doing this, but its really aggrevating

:D did u tryed to connect gamepad otherewise than by cable? Or on another PC :emofdr: :dhnuke:

I know that u want to blame it on Ubisoft but if u were googling that random xbox one gamepad disconection problem u would found that its a problem that can be caused by many reason, and trust me the problem its more likely on ur side :emofdr: :Coffee42:

If The Division is literally the ONLY game that the gamepad disconnects itself from out of nowhere and does not allow for me to use it again unless I restart the game, then I'm pretty sure it's Ubi's fault then. I can play Wildlands, Dark Souls, Dead by Daylight, Friday the 13th, Left 4 Dead 2, Gears 4, For Honor, DOOM (i can go on and on buddy) with a controller just fine without any disconnects or sudden unresponsiveness. I was JUST playing The Division just now and the controller was working just fine until it just stopped responding and forced me to use K&M

Normally if that were to happen with any game, a simple reconnect would suffice; in The Division's case tho that doesn't happen, and I have to restart the entire game again JUST to get it to function again. So yeah, it's Ubi's fault for not fixing this issue.

Alright and as I aked before xD have u tryed to for example reconect controller via another usb port, or use another cable or connect it via bluetooth? or u can just wait few months for another major update from ubisoft xD

As I said, I've tried everything. And its only with this game. So theres obviously something wrong with the game if there's not a single issue like this on any game whatsoever. You're not listening..
