Anyone here ever play 'Patton Strikes Back'?
I loved Chris Crawford's game when it released in 1991. Unlike most war games at the time, which relied on the player understanding all sorts of symbols and game concepts and mechanics, Patton was accessible - arguably, it paved the way for Panzer General, a few years later.

Are there any similarities here? Obviously this game is turn-based, whereas Crawford's game was in real time. But the two games look somewhat similar in scope to me.

Is this the 2015 version of PSB?

It's much better in my opinion, and I generally dislike playing phone games. They are having some issues with the port to the PC, though.

Shenandoah developed this series of games (BOTB was the first) for iOS. Now they've been ported to PC, finally. There are some MINOR bugs that have been identified here in the forums, and the devs just reported back that they'll have a patch out fixing them in two weeks or less.

If you enjoy legit strategy with a slavish devotion to historical accuracy, this game is for you.

I've pretty much decided I am going to buy this game, but now I'm wondering if I should buy it for my ipad?

I simply hadn't realized this was an iOS game.

I'm actually thinking about buying the iPad Pro early next year. This would be a great title on that!
