Just ignore him. Kref seems to be unable to discuss something in a civil manner. Even if I explain to him that there was made and expended around 47 BILLION rounds of small arms ammo during WWII he still won't listen. Hell it was only 20% of all soldiers during WWII that actually ended up firing their weapons.

Ww2 warfare was a chaotic thing, firing from cover, suppression fire et cetera. Rifles and machine guns were deadly tho, if they shoot to kill on open ground it would have take a handful of rounds to surely kill the poor dude (or the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ss).
A million rounds to kill a single soldier because small caliber weapons were not accurate in ww2 is absolute bogus, I dont even...

You do not even know what a billion is, one billion is one thousand millions (1’000). Tens of millions of people fought in ww2, if 47 billions is the real sum of rounds fired (I’d bet it is higher) it is not even that great of a number.

47’000’000’000/1’000’000 = 47’000 people killed by small caliber weapons in ww2??? I guess all the other ones shat themselves and died without external help.

That's only the small arms ammo. Aka. pistol and rifles and such. Anything bigger like bombs, artillery, grenades, etc. was not included.
And if you'd read closer, I also seem to have seen the following posts I made. And yes I know what a billion is. a thousand millions. I did correct it by stating a source that was newer than another one I had originally taken as truth, but was no longer available. The other source I found stated it was around 45 thousand rounds per killed Soldier that was fired during WWII.

And all I initially pointed out was that shooting a black powder gun wouldn't make it an OP weapon that kills everyone instantly. it's extremely hard to hit with something like that.

And then I was called a bunch of 'bad bad' nicknames.

I'm not pointing fingers at anyone in particular, just asking *everyone* to put down their metaphorical blades :P I would even point the fact that the topic is, well, off-topic to this thread, so I would suggest dropping it.

Would it be possible to either have them cause poisoning or have a higher risk of infection due to the fact that they frequently eat rotting meat which poses a massive risk of getting infections from bites IRL? If not fair enough, I see how piercing, crushing, bleeding, poisonous damage could be hard to balance.

Fully agree. I told myself already two or more times that ww2 combat is irrelevant for this game battle system, but that thing ignored that like all other arguments.
