Does anybody know of any mods that make the game "fair?"
I played this game not long after it released because the idea of managing a band of mercenaries in an unforgiving dark fantasy world was dope, and it was, but by the time I lost interest in it there was one thing I noticed that was an annoyance.

I noticed that the lowly bandit trash I was dumpstering on the regular restored stamina faster than my trained, conditioned, battle-hardened men, and the only way you could counteract that was recruiting someone with a Hedge Knight background or something. It wasn't something you could train into your men.

I think there were other minor things I don't remember, but does anyone know of mods that make the game "hard but fair" and take away unexplainable imbalances like the one described in the previous paragraph?

For what is worth, these aren't "unexplainavble imbalances"; it's very typical in games that enemies have some specific perks to offset the players' huge advantage: human intelligence. AI is limited in what it can do, while a human player can learn and adapt, even to the point of taking advantage of the limitations of the AI.

It's only ever a crutch to make up for the developer's inability to code well enough AI and seldom executed well. It's not even necessary in a game like this because I'm a situation where you're outnumbered the event wouldn't even need any unexplainable imbalance like that to put up a fight.

If the game were more successful somebody probably would've made the mod by now.

Did our dude really ignorance about mods can be found on nexus?

Also it seem you need at least 1 millions reviews before he permit any games to be call successful. This game with just 20k+ reviews which can consider more than 99% among all games on steam store still unsuccessful trash game to him.

That's where I looked before posting here. The closest I was able to find was https://www.nexusmods.com/battlebrothers/mods/254?tab=description but that sits behind a level requirement.

Hey, as far as i know the basic human enemies (thugs and brigands) recover stamina at the same rate as your humans (15 per round).
