game crashing

so im playing moded game and when im doing quests for noble war crises i unable to load game when i take a quest from any faction for anythign like sieg/raid bases/battle and i get this, would appreciate help

what mods are you using.

difficult to say what is causing the crash. It might be caused by some mod incompatibility, or, since you say you are unable to load the game it might be the save file got corrupted which can happen esp. if you use mods. I'd recommend patching the game executable so it can use 4 GB of memory instead of 2 GB.

mods im playing on are - colored rumours, more followers, msu, settlement prices/situation tooltip, smart racruiter, stronghold, legends, swifter

yes, I have had the same problems playing different mods like legends and fantasy brothers, at some point the game started to crash and I wasn't able anymore to load the save. Some mods which add a lot of content, particularly legends, use considerably more memory than native which due to the game's limitation to 2 GB tends to cause those problems. That's why patching the game so that it can use 4 GB of memory instead of 2 may fix the issue, provided it's indeed the cause of the crashes in your case.

I play the GOG version of the game, which I've patched to use 4 GB of RAM. Since I suppose you're using the steam version I recommend downloading the MSU launcher on nexus I linked above. This tool includes a built-in 4GB patch to alleviate memory issues within the game. Though if your save is already corrupt I suppose you won't be able to load it anyway and may have to load either an earlier save or start a new game.
