There is also a mod apparently that allows for 18 deployed at once if you are a modding type.
Without these things consider how to use terrain to control the flow of battles or play around with formations of bros. Using the right tools for the job can also make a huge difference. Noble house patrolling armies used to give me trouble, then I realized forests were great places to set up choke points and death traps for them for example. Which then led to learning the best ways to deal with each of their troops.
For your immediate problem: have you tried putting some greatsword users on the flanks or using long axes in your back row to smash their shields?
You got this.
Lock down the shield guys with some of your bulkier bros and have a few damage dealers swing over the top and/or bottom of the line to attack the Pikes from behind.
Most of the lategame has you outnumbered. But most late game bros should eventually be strong enough to 1v2 most enemies or better.
I just hope the 18 bro mod is still updated when the new dlc comes out....I like they give you an 18 option, but i don't want to be stuck with low born.
I role-play btw and only play ironman, so miss balance is never an issue.
