Save file corruption

Was wondering if a actual fix has been found for the steam version, really like the game but I honestly don't wanna be constantly looking over my shoulder every six seconds in fear that I might lose my entire run.

no, if you want to be safe, you'll have to buy the GOG version as I did.

Started a new run for BB recently and i am also running into this a lot, since i added mods after several playthroughs. Would be really sweet if we could have that 4gb version on steam.
And yes, the devs dont have to think about mods, bla bla bla.
Mods add a lot of replayability and fun this is in the interest of the game devs, since it enhances game experiance.
As an example. They teasered a little update to BB. If it has no fix for the file save corruption it it, i will not buy it, since i dont want to run into this issue

I just went to open my 400-day Ironman save this morning and got the corruption message :(

So sad. The last thing I did was hire a new farmer that had Fearless, Strong, 3* MA, 3* MD, and 3* HP. Guy was a monster, a freak of the farmlands. I was so looking forward to training him up... and then... bye bye... :'(

How to fix Save File Corruption issue?

Already posted a discussion about this before, sadly nothing ever came of it.. for anyone who's on the steam version any ideas on how to fix/stop this? always happens after a few hours of gameplay, textures will become blocky, missing textures and then it's followed with a crash and all save data is gone. (Note it's been forever since I've last played, someone said they were hinting at a bb update?... regardless is this fixed now or still a issue? cus the games just been gathering dust ever since.)

No none at all, also apologies didn’t know if I had to make a new one or not.

If it helps- I own the blazing deserts, Nordic warrior, beasts and whatever dlcs.

I noticed save corrupptions since I bought the blazing desert dlc if it helps, usually following a battle where textures failed to load in properly (essentially any kind of hindrance), directly after transfering loot and clicking continue it crashes the game and corrupts the save

For me it just pops up randomly from what I've seen mid runs, sometimes ya won't even notice the errors and the second you finish a battle BOOM save ruined.

I just bought this title last week after wanting to play it for years but due to this bug I have been unable to play it without my saves being corrupted after crashes. Sometimes after playing for less than 20 min. I have given up on it for now but I still really want to play it.

Is there any chance that this will get fixed?
