Report a translation problem
Depending on your operating system, the last point may be named differently. It may be called 'Override high DPI scaling behavior' for you, in which case you need to set it to 'Application'. You can also take a look here[pureinfotech.com] (second part) for some screenshots and further guidance on where to find that option.
This was the solution to fix the issue. I followed the instructions as given and the disclaimer at the end about the last point being named differently was needed and very helpful. The game's menus are now synced with my 1080p resolution.

I'd try launching the game through steam and selecting "Reset Configuration" to default UI Scaling back to 100% and seeing if that fixes things.
