Can't load my save (ID mismatch something-something)

Everything worked fine until my save file got corrupted or something. I was on a mission to hunt lindwurms, found them and quit the game to do some irl stuff. When I got back, the game just refuses to load my file, crashes every time. Playing Ironman with no backups, so it really pains me.

Tried the usual verifying local files, clean install, etc - doesn't work. Not using any mods.

Sending over save file in question and log. Please help.

I figured you got more important things to do rather than fixing random dude's problem, so I tried to fix it myself.

According to the log, the issue is related to some banner.

Red text says:
Unable to open file "gfx/ui/banners/banner_43.png".

And then it says (in Russian for whatever reason):
Reason: Не удается найти указанный файл. (unable to locate the following file)

Indeed, there is no such thing as banner_43 in data_001.dat. Well... i just copy-pasted random banner inside the folder and renamed it to banner_43.

Aaaaand the game still crashes. But there is no red text in the log this time.

Can't even figure what's the problem this time. Any help?

The worst of all, I had a fantastic map this time. Great starting bros, great layout, everything just how I like it. But I can't remember what seed did I use. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Just lost another ironman game due to the same bug. But this time I think I found the reason why.

When you exit the settlement screen there is a short white-screen splash that lasts for a split second. If you click a mouse button during that moment, the game freezes. Which is really annoying, since there is no auto-pausing upon exiting the town screen and you don't want to waste time on the world map.

Anyway, you have to force quit your game, and then you can't load the save file. Sending over my save and log, maybe you can fix the issue.

P.S.: can we have auto-pause after quitting the town screen? Please? At least as an option?

Just had the exact same thing happen, left a settlement, the game crashed, and now the save wont load. Was only 30 something days in but still pretty dissapointed :(
