So How Worth it is the Fangshire Helm?

I'm trying to decide between the $20 edition of Battle Brothers and the $40 edition. The only thing that appeals to me in the $40 edition is that Fangshire Helm. For those that bought the edition for it, was it worth the extra $?

i like the look, but it is not that great. i got it just because it came with the support edition, and i just wanted to toss the extra money because i wanted to contribute to a game i think is awesome and would like to see it succeed.

umm i think 60 and allows you to see at night with no penaltys. not worth it. its the first uniqe though so no big deal. its worth 100 gold so sell it if you want and buy yourself a 80-100 helm for that price.

60? I was hoping 80-90. Can you see on the world map at night? anyway I think I'll upgrade, I want to support them anyway.

No. You can't see more then normal. Its just at night you can see more on the tactical map for that chr as well he suffers no negative due to night time.

Oh well. I'll upgrade anyway, want to support. 80-90 is because there are decent "light" helmets in that armor range. It'd be nice if they automatically imported a Fangshire to current saves with the upgrade but I'll just start a new campaign.

like i said, it looks cool with good armor to start. if i have a wildman i always put it on him just for fun and he looks badass lol. othere wise, sell it. its 100 gold you can buy something else with.

Just a quick reminder: The things you get with the supporter edition are not really meant to equal the price difference to the basic edition. It is only for people who really want to support the development of the game. The items are just a "thank you" for those folks.

The support was basically why I upgraded. The helm is, while not exactly terrible, not really a useful bit of equipment. Looks nice though (I think, I haven't actually equipped anyone with it yet).

It looks awesome. +2 vision is an amazing buff, but only at night (and you get +10 range defense too)- I wish we could import it into current saves though. (still waiting for Steam to fix the can't buy it issue)
