How to see what status effects do?

So, I just got this (literally just - at the time I'm writing this I've just done the first attack in the first fight), and I have a question: how do I see what status effects do?

Like, my first attack has inflicted "Pierced Chest" on the enemy, but I have no idea what that actually does, game-wise. Enemy also has "Double Grip" and "Confident", none of which I have any idea of the effect.

The game doesn't let you know unless it happened to your characters, and you aren't in a fight. At best, I would use a wiki for all of the information on status effects. I just mod the game and not have to worry about the lack of helpful tips on how things work, or if my hirelings are "in the good spot" of leveling up instead of wasting coin and a precious spot for them.

Double grip is +25% damage for owning a one handed weapon with the off hand free. Confident is a stat bonus from high morale.

Thanks. I now have the wiki permanently open when playing so I can alt-tab for condition effects. Feels like a pretty big oversight, not to have them explained in-game.

Their is a "Detailed Status Effects" mod in Nexus, but it old (2019), not sure if it still works.
