For the vanilla eperience i would say barbarians first and deserters at a close second place.
Edit: On further thinking about it, whipping some indebted to greatness might be unique too, but i havent done a long run with them, so far ... damn it, now i probably have too...
Anatomist is maybe the most similar to Cultist in feel. Weak early game but gaining more and more buffs over time, and the potions can allow for unique things that other origins can't do.
Will give the raiders or anatomists a shot on my next run.
Thanks again.
Not sure it would be as much fun without the mod, though
Totally agree. LW was my early fav start - the restriction to number of bros, and the need to keep the LW alive, taught me a lot about how to play the game successfully and fine tune tactics, gear, contracts etc.
The very thought of peasant militia hordes now fills me with dread at all the waste of money needed to maintain the company.... Will I ever try it? Maybe, one day, when...
The only expensive thing in peasant militia is feeding them!
