and in combination with Overwhelm, since 3 stacks of overflow per turn is downplaying the enemy a lot.
I had a nimble shieldtank, daggermaster in one of my plays, that worked really impressive in keeping melee strong enemies that are hard to hit busy for quite some time (looking at swordmasters, bladedancers, assassins, and so on),
but to be honest:
Both are rather fun, yet working, buildconcepts.
I've also seen people work with daggermasters and fearsome, which also seems to work decent.
In any case: as long as you don't combine it with a second Brother for stuns, your damage won't be that high. The quatar-dagger killing blow damage with another Brother to disable the target first....has quite some damage potencial.
It sounds like you were talking about Puncture builds, in which case Duelist doesn't really make a lot of sense since it doesn't benefit Puncture. I would benefit normal attacks but if you wanted to use normal attacks you should use a Qatal instead.
With Puncture, you can carry a shield and not lose any damage. 25 "free" defense (with shield spec Heater) is pretty amazing to have on a damage dealer. Puncture builds need high Fatigue and high melee skill to make use of Puncture spamming. 90 Fatigue after gear is what I would recommend if possible, so Nimble is recommended to make this easier to achieve.
Fearsome for sure, and then you can laugh when Warriors start fleeing just from you stabbing them a few times. If you want to reliably injure Warriors, Chosen, and other rare beefy humans then you will need CS, but if you don't care about this then it can be skipped. Executioner is good either way.
For a Qatal Duelist, Overwhelm + Fearsome makes them very good at disabling enemies in 1v1 scenarios. Having an Adrenaline mace guy or someone else nearby who can toss nets on priority targets can help boost your damage.
