Apotheosis Potion

What does apotheosis potion do? It is the potion you start with as Anatomists. It says +1 hitpoints +1 fatigue but it also says mutates the body causing sickness.

I don't want to waste it as it seems you only get one, is there something else you're supposed to do with it, like combine it with another potion? It seems odd you start with this potion that only gives +1 to hp and fatigue and does nothing else. If I keep it will an event happen?

No, it's just a simple item to introduce you to the potion mechanics, slightly useful for your low-health/low-fatigue Anatomists, but not useful enough to hoard and wait for a perfect hire. Just use it.

It's also a pretty good joke at the expense of your anatomists to showcase their hybris.

Thanks, but what about the "mutates the body causing sickness" is this something to be concerned about, i'm a ways into an ironman run and haven't used any potions because I don't want to screw up my brothers nor waste the potions but can I safely just feed every potion I come across to a single brother without any problems or will it kill him or something?

It gives you 1-2 days of the sick debuff to drink the Apotheosis potion. Other potions give you a much longer duration sick debuff. Easy to chug while somebody has a broken limb since you're benching them for the duration of the sickness anyways.
