Goblin City : predecessor question (solved)

So, I discover the "Rul'gazhix" , the Goblin City
I choose "destroyed 10 goblin parties" predecessor then go back first to prepare
After do some mission and kill some goblin parties , I accidentaly pass by the Goblin City again
I want to see how much parties I left to kill (just didn't remember) so get in and take a look
but I see the jumping window says "we'll retern after {ten} goblin--"
looks like it doesn't count the party number that I have destroyed

10/21 update：YES , it's just doesn't count the number on the goblin city's pop-up
I finally kill more goblins and get "We should return" message.

I don't think it counts the number of parties you've defeated.

If I recall, you should get an event pop-up once you defeat the tenth party informing you that you can go attack the city now, so that can be your indicator.

I always choose the other option to destroy 5 camps instead. Much easier imo.

I know the event will pop-up , but my map's goblin site are all far away from cities , hard to find many parties , so I can't distinguish is there a bug or just need to kill more.
also want to know the Contract's generated goblin partis are counted or not ?

I don't think there is any bug, there is just no indicator how many you've defeated.

Not sure if contract parties count or not. I would assume yes, but I never choose this option so I've never really tested it.

I'm fairly certain it has to be roaming mobs though and not camps. I don't think there are any Goblin contracts that have you go after roaming mobs except during the Greenskin crisis.

Not sure if mixed Greenskin crisis parties count or not. I would assume yes, but I don't know for sure.

oh god, have i been wasting my time all along? I know ive beaten the ''goblin city'' and got that helmet once. but in my current game ive pretty much fog busted the entire map, i cant find '' goblin city'' anywhere. Been farming ''entrance to goblin city'' thinking one of them might be it.

Do i need a mission or an ambition for the real Goblin city to spawn?

There is only 1 goblin city with a quest, so if you got a quest it must be the one.

Yea thats what iim saying, i havent got a quest in this playtrough. Meaning ive been farming goblin city for nothing :( didnt remember i had to get a quest.

You should visit the city first and get the mission

also , some times such this legendary locations are very hard to find

(and for my question , my company is now facing the Holy War and don't have time to search the goblins , will come back to update this post soon.)

The conditions for the quest are tracked correctly, if you are experiencing any UI issues feel free to report it as a bug if you are sure that is what it is; the game does however not usually track information visibly for the player; but always tracks it correctly internally.

Continue killing goblin war parties, you will be fine.

Hmmm, im probly an idiot but am i understanding this right, you have to move to the goblin city to start the quest to attack it ? My problem is, ive 99% fog busted the map and goblin city is nowhere to be found . I was farming goblin '' the gate to a great underground goblin city '' in the goblin territory trying to find it. Or do you need some sort of quest/ambition while in the greenskins crisis to do such a thing?

No , you just need to explore the whole map , search every corner to find it , other legendary locations are the same.

Is it possible it spawned on some land mass/island i cannot reach? The whole map as been cleared and i cannot see it. :/

It spawns in goblin territory, so that narrows your search by quite a bit. Usually in or near mountains.

The reveal radius for legendary locations is smaller than the regular fog reveal, so it's entirely possible to paint the map and not find everything.

I've had it happen a few times.

I found it! it was like you said in a part where fog had been busted but was tucked inside a mountain formation. I feel so dumb. thanks!
