Battletech is pretty good, especially with one of the extensive overhaul mods.
There are no games like this really.
Outside of the injury mechanic, there's actually a lot of games like this. Mordheim stands out as it's also another mercenary band simulation game. Technically it has an injury mechanic too, with characters visually showing when they are missing limbs, eyes, etc, but most people just fire a character at that point in Mordheim.
Battletech is another mercenary management game. Mechs show damage if that's what you are after. Huge filesize though.
Jagged Alliance is very similar to this game, particularly the third Jagged Alliance as it introduces a perk point system, and again you run a mercenary operation. It doesn't have a detailed injury system, but it does have a system where you need to have a doctor manage injured mercenaries after the battle, which can take a lot of time and medical supplies.
Rimworld is very much a different genre, being a colony sim, but it has interesting injury mechanics. The artstyle limits what injuries you can see, but the most recent major update included a mechanic where injured characters can sometimes try to crawl away, dragging bloodstains across the ground.
If you just want a simulation game similar to Battle Brothers and aren't super attached to injury mechanics, then Starsector or Mount and Blade both have broad playstyle similarities. Starsector isn't on Steam though, so you'll have to get it from the website.
