(By the by turtle, you dragging your secondary weapons from the inventory instead of right-clicking them ruffled my feathers immensely)
Commentary would be better, I agree, but it is easier for me to do it without. I also couldn't be free of background noise when I made the video, and I was afraid it would leak in if I tried to voice. Thanks for watching though.
There's actually a story to that. Some time in the last year or two something happened to where my right clicks started occasionally double registering. So what sometimes happened would be that my weapon would swap twice in a row effectively wasting my QH and often my turn. Now I have an ingrained fear of the right click
Ruffled my feathers immensely too at the time. Now I've grown used to the dragging. I've gotten a new computer and a new mouse recently so I should probably try right clicking again and see if it wants to be nice to me.
Thanks
I'd be very interested in seeing you do a full campaign end-to-end sometime. I know that's a big pain the butt to do, but there's real demand out there should you ever want to :)
nice job
Thanks.
I'm not confident that I am entertaining enough to carry a let's play. It takes more than just being decent at the game to be interesting to watch.
Now that I have a good computer though I can record more easily. Maybe I'll record the Necropolis with commentary. Could be fun if I go in blind as I've not done it before and I think the mod said there's a new boss in there.
Thanks!
Yeah that was very well-played tactically, though kind of a nailbiter overall. I wouldn't attempt that on ironman - like to feel as prepared as possible before these battles. But I did move this battle to between goblin city and kraken for endgame content rather than after kraken. I suppose the stat requirements are probably less than goblin city though given the need to endure so many rounds of arrows on goblin city.
Thanks!
I think it is a lot easier than Goblin City, and having the unique Library shield is also helpful to have in Goblin City.
In my last run I had the shield on a NimbleForge Wildman shieldbro with I think -2 base RDF and the Goblins enjoyed shooting at him despite him being a horrible target for them, and then getting Dazed in the process.
Goblin City also has a lot of variance in how the difficulty/terrain will be since it spawns on a mountain tile. With the Library you can kind of know what to expect (with the exception of raised pot timings), but with Goblin City you don't know if you are going to end up 3 tiles downhill at the start or not.
I like the concept of it, but it kinda goes in the direction of the Kraken in that way. Nowhere near as bad as the Kraken, mind.
AND THERE AREN'T EVEN ANY BOOKS THERE
