Beginner Seeds w/ Good Bros?
I have been looking for ages but I can't find anything. Since I havent played and was still learning even when I had played a bit awhile back its hard for me to judge.

I was looking for ports that I can use to get from north to south quickly, good trade routes, easy access to wilds, and good bros.

An extremely good seed for someone doing his first real run on rebuilding a company.

In addition I was trying to think of a name for the company but I do have an idea as to what the theme is, namely that the three bros came back from a crusade in the south to start a life as mercenaries and then the whole tutorial scenario happens.

Sort of a teutonic german type name without the German. My initial thought was Last Templars but I always preferred the Teuronic Knights and Hospitallers to the Templars.

The map seed is far more important though!

I have quite a few seeds that are good in one way or another, but nothing that is as perfect as you are seeking. You may get lucky, but the chances of you checking all of those boxes in a timely manner is slim. You can try digging through this website if you want.

https://bb.frukso.se/

Keep in mind that the DLCs you own will effect the seeds.

I recommend you this one - MLVRigViiI.
It's from reddit post, fudogz did a great job analyzing this one and couple of others. There is port NW, and 5 ports in south, two of them at southern cities, inclidong the one with arena. I don't really care that much about trade, but it's also good with gems and stuff + a lot of wood to buy in the north, sail to south and sell for reconstructions.
Wilds are to the east with a couple of fog spots in west.
My goal was also to find seed with decent north house which is honorable and it's also in this seed. White stag from south house is somewhat fat on settlements, but I guess I'll just wreck them in noble war for a balance.
Well, just check that post, it's all explained there and there are even maps for trading goods, legendary locations and other stuff.

As for the brothers - just use BBEdit. Believe me - I have spent literally years looking for a great seed before I will start new company. It's easier to just fix you starting companions for your taste and play on a overall good seed instead of starting to look for another one which gonna be ideal with good bros. I guess you can find ideal one, but you'll spend A LOT of time looking for it.

It's also been headache for me to find cool name for a company but I always return to thought that I need to name in based on banner. You know, like Iron Boars for banner with a boar or Black Bears for bear banner. For your case - maybe something like Iron Sun for banner with iron glove and sun or Crimson Knights for one with, well, crimson knight with lantern in his hand.
Also iirc rebuilding company start is about rebuilding a company where you was second in command in already established mercenary company after surviving ambush from Hoggart and you and your three companions are only survivors. So it's not like they returned from the southern crusade but I guess you can roleplay it somewhat like your company indeed returned from the south where they worked for northeners, rested and decided to return to normal business with small contract but thing went south. You can even change biography for your starting companions to match those events in BBEdit.

It doesn't need to be rebuilding it could be a new company or others but I wanted a standard experience for my first real run. Are the bros in this seed any good? I am still having a really hard time figuring out this stuff.

I'm using this seed (with all DLC) playing a merchant Guard origin. So, I'm merchanting the hell out of it. Excellent seed for that.

Also, my company is called The Better Business Bureau with a fun banner, the Knight with a Lamp.

Ngl i did burst out laughing once I saw the name.

Im totally at a loss as to what to do regarding being a merchant. I dont know how to figure out the trade routes and generally what region produces what and where to sell it.

There are like over9000 guides and videos on youtube describing this concept as well as other usefull tips. All in all, not a rocket science - buy at villages, sell to towns. Grind some rep for better prices, watch for events that affect prices as well. Remember its a supplement to your merc work, not another way to play - gold is good, well developed bros are better.

mFclWsjzpF also very good map. Bros are ok to great. Generally don't worry about bros and if their negatraits really offend your karma, learn how to use bbedit to take those out of your savefile - imo its not more of a cheat then rolling maps looking for perfect bro/map combos.

I gave myself a good chuckle. You should see how funny it reads in some of the events... The Better Business Bureau...

For trading, a good retinue helps. I most trade north to south and vice versa. I like package deliveries because I get to control the locations I stop along the way. Lots of battles moving on the roads. I'm enjoying it.
