I tried equiping some wardogs because the description seems to indicate they'll help track or scout, although the sentence structure makes me think this refers only to tactical battles. If these do impact footprint range / detection distance on the world map, how do the mechanics work?
Great effing game by the way, loving the world map update.
Does party size impact spotting range or speed? I keep wondering what if any M&B-style mechanics made it across. I felt like I saw enemies more frequently when my force got reduced from 9 to 3, but that could just have been more people trying to pick a fight.
I believe niddhoger is right I always have to chase groups far from roads and can't possibly be considered the 'patrol route', I would call it wilderness, far from any city or towns, but after battle the kills are included.
