If you can't delete the saves in game, you can try deleting them manually from the folder they reside in.

It should be located like so:
C:\Users\your_name\Documents\Battle Brothers\savegames

Is your steam cloud full or something that you need to delete it in order to save new games? I guess you could try deleting the cloud saves too if you think that's the issue.

Go to this location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\#########\365360

Those # symbols are a number associated with your userID. If you don't have multiple steam users on your computer then you should only see yourself so it will be easy, otherwise you'll need to figure out which one is you.

The 365360 is the Battle Brothers appID. Within there you should see a "remotecache" file.

You can either try removing this file entirely, or a potentially safer method would be to edit it and remove your saves while keeping everything that isn't a save, which would probably look something like the following:

"365360"
{
"ChangeNumber" "-7437044198041425404"
"ostype" "16"
}

Maybe deleting the file is fine. I'm not sure if the game is smart enough to re-create it if it is missing. It probably is.

Either way, once you've dealt with that file, go back to the savegames location I mentioned in my last post and remove everything there again.

That should in theory purge all of your saves from both your computer and the steam cloud.

I have done everything you said. Change 365360 file to only

"ChangeNumber" "-7437044198041425404"
"ostype" "16"

I'm not sure where else the saves would be located. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

What makes you think that the old saves are the problem preventing you from saving new games anyway?

I heard the same problem before in forums and stuff. I ınstall and redesign saves files but whenever i start the game files restore them self. After that ı get

"Failed to create persistence. Reason: Unkown." and

"The program will now terminate.
Stackrace:
+Function saveCamping()-File scripts/states/world_state.nut:1244
+Function: campaign_menu_module_onSavePressed()- File: scripts/states/world_state.nut:1990
+Funcrion: onSaveButtonPressed() -File: scripts/ui/screens/menu/modules/save_campaign_mnru_module.nut:99"

error

Looks like something is preventing the game from accessing "My Documents\Battle Brothers". Here's a few things to check;
  • Add the game's executable and the save folder to the exception list of any anti-virus software you may be running. Some anti-virus software also offer additional protection for the "My Documents" folder which you can either add an excepton for or temporarily disable.
  • Make sure that the "My Documents\Battle Brothers" folder (and its subfolders) are not write-protected. If Windows doesn't let you remove the write-protection flag (as it sometimes does), try deleting the folder (but make a backup of your saves first).
  • If your "My Documents" folder is currently mapped to a networked drive, this may also cause issues with writing permissions. You may want to remap the specific folder used by the game to a local drive.
Hope it helps.
