Just a heads up, it's day 224, and I've confirmed at least one thing:
The random trade goods that appear in town are trade goods that already exist in the world. That is, if there are no copper mines, you will never see Copper Ingots as a random trade good in any town. Just like I can't find any Quality Wood in any town.
The only way I've been getting trade goods, that don't have a production site in the world, are from after-battle loots with bandits/orcs/etc. I've gotten a few Salt, a few Copper Ingots and one Cloth Roll so far. All these do not have production sites in my world.
Also, still no Quality Wood. ;/
Thanks for this, I'll go try it out! Overseers are scary though, but I do love me some impalers.
Well, I'm sure they are going to fix the map generator so it takes better care of this kind of nonsense.
