My party has always been faster whenever I've chased anything. Sure it might take a few days sometimes and force you to chase over mountains and through swampy forests, but I ultimately always catch the guy if I am attentive enough. The problem is there's no "Lock on and chase" so you constantly need to re-adjust the party's movement during the chase to maintain efficiency.
The only way I currently know of (not how) to speed the game up on the overland map is by using cheat engine. It's been mentioned before in these forums but I don't specifically know what memory addresses to look for.
Thanks! Works for me. It's not a specific address, CE hooks into a windows timer routine.
What do Monk and Flagellant really talk when they argue about faith, how old my Swordmaster is, which one of my crew would be the craven and which one is the bravest, I make up stories in my head in the meantime while they are travelling and it's awesome, but hey that's just me.
You would have loved the irrational survivor cultist who had brain damage and was my sargebro in one of the runs I did..
it's almost as if you're implying something here, but I won't go that low on your level
Thanks; found it. It appears that "fast speed" has to be constantly re-set after a game pause, a battle, or a visit to town though.
Still progress!
2x is way too slow to respect the average player time.
I tend to agree. Also, there should be an option to permanently set it.
