The Barber Shop - A Waste?
Does anyone really use the Barber Shop feature? I tried it once, realized that no matter what I did, the changes would be covered up by armor anyway, and have not been back since. Seems a waste of a building feature to me, and was wondering if I am alone in this, or most might agree, that perhaps the Barber Shop could be overhauled into something more game worthy.

I use it. There are some faces I prefer to change and maybe add some beard at the same time. Now that they added more voices I wouldn't mind if I could change them too. Also maybe add few more horn sounds and melodies for the Rally thing and let the player choose which one to use.

Definitely these are secondary things, main game first but I think the customization can only improve the game. I love how this game is now but still the immersion is better if you don't see or hear all the same things over and over again.

I think it's ok. I use the building but it also could be improved. I do not like to remove the feature. Some faces and beards are just ugly and do not match the background of character. There are pros and cons as everywhere. The developer could change it for several things just as the church or chapel. Wait what happens...

I think it's perfectly fine as it is. It's for people who roleplay and it was a nice touch. Far more creative than the generic "modify appearance" tab.

It's fine the way it is, It's obviously a roleplay feature, i like changing the way my soldiers look. Could it use some changes? No idea, maybe, tho i don't really see in what way.

i use it every time, in Pride&Glory everyone has to share the same haircut

I use it. However, you're right. Appearances don't affect anyone's final look all that much in heavy armor. At least we get to customize beards though :/

I use it. You can still see the face and facial hair with most helmets, makes it easier to recognize mercs quickly if nothing else.

I use it. Its not really that important, but some people roleplay, and its a nice feature that costs nothing.

No this is an idea I could get behind. We're about to purchase a giant brass library for our studio anyway so why not put it to good use?

I use the barber, if I run into one, on my 3 starter guys to make them fit my idea of them better. But, for all new hires I leave them as they are since they are just random men.

If Battle Sisters are introduced though...guaranteed...I'll be using barber feature for every one of them. I can't help it. : )

I use it every game. I'll have no stupid long hair or beards in my army!

Afterall all wars are won by the army with the shortest haircuts;

"Why did the US cavalry beat the Indian nation? Short back and sides versus girly-hippie locks. The Cavaliers and the Roundheads, 1-0 to the pudding-basins. Vietnam, crew-cuts both sides, no score draw."
