All crisis end after a certain amount of specific troops (undead, greenskin, noble houses) and camps are killed on the world map, not counting who kills them (means: NPC battles do count), while doing contracts against a faction does also add "points" to the end of a crisis.
So...maybe just kill a bunch more noble troops and see what happens.
In this case I might try to fight a few more enemy troops. Despite that two towns already changed sides since the "almost over" message, which should have pushed the counter significantly. Normally the wars ended after fullfilling around 4 contracts. This time I already did 2 contracts plus the other stuff I described, but the war isn't ending.
Glad I could help.
