They said in the last Discord AMA that they have ideas for more content but that they are working on Menace (their new game) right now and since Overhype is a team of just a couple of people they can't devote their time/manpower to both at the same time.

Plans can change. Go back years and they initially said there wouldn't be any dlc at all.

We don't know much about Menace atm. There's no release date. I would be kind of surprised if it came out in 2023. I'm assuming it will be later.

For what they said In the last discord AMA, they are open to add more content to BB1. Even they aren't opposed to make BB2.
I'm sure that, if Overhype last for many years, we will enjoy more BB content.
