Report a translation problem
I agree that some maps can have an annoying layout, personally I get annoyed when there are obnoxiously placed mountains, or no good selling town near the wilds, but it shouldn't be that hard to find a reasonable map.
I have played some games with the unexplored map setting also, which takes away any compulsion to reload for a good map since you won't know either way, and I like the extra exploring aspect of it.
Agreed and this is the map version of min-maxing in that it makes the game easier, but not all all required to succeed. Sure, a map with a nice ring trade road and 6 ports with one being the arena is nice, but is really just a bonus, not necessity.
My seed evaluation is about 85% bro quality and 15% map.

The fact this game even offers it is a huge plus.
I, also, prefer not 'knowing' where all the towns, citadels, etc are...adds that element of exploration that is missing in many games.
Who says the 'brothers' should know where every village is; though they already know where the 3 most southern cities will, generally, be.
