Are they frenzied hyenas? Well... Stat and skill wise, frenzied hyenas are much scarier than fallen heroes. Geists are easy to counter as long as you have resolve and a banner guy. You can even ignore geists once you get high enough resolve on your banner guy or bros. The only scary thing about undead fights is the necromancer possessing fallen heroes. On the other hand, hyenas stack overwhelm and hits 3 times. Fighting without proper tactic means you get hit 24 times in one round (8 hyenas) compared to undead who just hit once (thrice if possessed) and can be "disarmed" by picking up their weapon, effectively making them less of a threat. Also, once you get injured in a hyena fight you'll get worse results as they have the executioner perk.

Yeah, frenzied hyenas are very OP. Approach with care.

As Lil Bunny explains, one needs to be sharp and aware of what's happening. What LB doesn't explain is my favourite tactic against them - run like hell and pray they don't catch up.

thx everyone, i just had an event of a fight between me vs 2 oathbringers ( im playing as oathtakers as my 2nd playthrough), i got demolished and 2 my original oathtakers died along with some another character. After that i decided to end the campaign suiciding vs some unholds, ggs
