Got it. Unluckynoob gave the same advice in another thread as well. But you think Colossus is still useful even when you have over 100 HPs? What HP goals do you aim at in regard to tanks?
Nine lives have gotten buffed, and its also considerably stronger on cultists then other orgion's since the tier 4 cultist fanatics makes your units ignore the current injuries in battle
Yes, but isn't there a point where too much of one stat has diminishing returns? I don't know where that break point is for HPs on tanks though.
Good point; I hadn't considered Nine Lives because it was awful when the game released, and I never gave it a second glance again. Would you say Nine Lives is preferable to Steel Brow though?
Honestly I got no clue, I just try and get a lot of HP on my guys. Other people probably know the optimal perks better than I do, I just figured that more HP would always be more valuable than removing the headshot damage modifier.
It can even be enough hp that get's added to survive another blow, if the helm or armor isn't that damaged.
compared to other orgion's their might have terrible morale when it activates or really bad injuries so their might not avoid anymore blows.
it also sorta gives a safety net, that now another battle brother needs to use his turn throwing a smoke bomb so the guy who used nine lives can escape melee instead of just outright dying on the spot because you didn't expect so much damage rolling in.
In those few situations where brow could really help mroe (eg. Chosen) , Indom. is your tank insurance.
The problem with Indomitable is that in large combat, the tank has to continuously hold off multiple attackers, and thus he has to use Recover and cannot use Indomitable in some turns. And that's when you might get one-shot.
Are there any enemies that hit as hard as Orc Berserker?
