If a necromancer is willing to pay me almost double what the village offered so he can keep the tome or crystal artifact or whatever, ♥♥♥♥ that village.
Messing with noble retainers on the other hand isn't a great idea unless you can handle not being allowed to access ~1/3rd of the map's towns. Being locked out of the only kennels sucks.
When you see the guy with the broken down cart, do you rob him or help fix his wheel?
Most situations all have mutliple outcomes for all the options. I've gotten "Child along the side of the road" a couple times.. and he's injured a brother, killed the child, or the child stole an item from the inventory.
"bad" options will mostly effect honour or such, and have different outcomes, of course.
