If you only choose one then pick Nimble. The reason being that with your armor regenerating your only real fear of death is through penetration damage which will add up faster without Nimble.
Perks willing you can run both. Taking less armor damage translates to less penetration damage slightly.
Alternatively, run only Forge and use Additional Fur Padding, which is similar to having 66% Nimble but only for your body. Your head would be vulnerable in this case.
Colossus is your friend regardless of what you do because your armor is infinite and your hp is not.
Then you would get both bonuses.
For example, I tried both on one of my games, and I gave the guy rare armor and helm. He ended up with 49% hp damage reduction from Nimble and 22% armor damage reduction from BF, which honestly I think is pretty decent.
If you want to know what they would get with any given armor, just put that armor on a nimble guy, then put it on a BF guy, and look at the bonuses.
At 28 Fat I get 63% from Nimble.
I had a helmet with 280 armor, with that I got 72% from BF.
I had a damaged copy of it, and I tried repairing-
At 266 armor it gave 73%.
269, it gave 73%
273, it gave 72%.
So my best answer is:
With Nimble you get 47% less damage to HP.
With BF you get 27-28% less damage to armor.
With both, you get both.
