Broken Ritual armor
Hey folks I just faced the boss in the icy cave and got the 2h cleaver and a broken ritual armor. Does anyone know if it's fixable and where to do it?

Yeah Elk Hunting Grounds - a unique location that's supposed to be in the snow/tundra.

I wouldn't know though because I've never found it. Turns out I'm not alone, apparently it's a location that has a reputation for being omitted in maps. Due to procedural generation of map seeds, some stuff gets wonky. Locations either wont spawn, or they get placed on some island that is inaccessible and hidden by the fog, might as well not exist.

Search the northern areas, but dont get your hopes up. You can get a bad*** armor from it, assuming your seed isnt missing aforementioned legendary location.

Yes you can reveal the entire map with a cheat engine. It will remove ALL fog and show all encampments and legendary locations. Honestly Im not sure the exact process but Ive seen it discussed on reddit a few times, in reference to seeds that are missing these locations.

Might try asking on there or googling how to remove fog of war. Cheat Engine 6.8.3 is the go-to engine for doing such things.

My map seed is SSVHZDVFFQ if that works. Let's see if I can find this Elk Hunting Grounds.

So although it doesn't show up when you look around it will spawn when you beat the madman. First time I ever got the ritual armor was when I found the Elk Hunting grounds in a spot I frequently went to. It was never there until I got the broken ritual armor then it just showed up so you are gonna have to look around the places you've already been as well as the places you haven't but it will be on the north half.

The Hunting Grounds will spawn in Tundra, the terrain between the snow and the regular grass in the centre of the map, and, like most legendary locations, is not visible at fog reveal range, meaning it's possible you haven't revealed the location, despite removing the fog from it.

It is only findable after beating the Icy Cave. hence you may have already explored the area, even taking into account the reduced range for spotting it, but it might be helpful to know it'll spawn at least 15 tiles away from a settlement.

In my experience it's always there, but it's often hard to find. Look in the tundra beneath the snow. Look EVERYWHERE, also regions you have explored before. And don't forget about the "civilized" tundra, don't only look in the wilderness.

It's always tundra and you need to be within 2 tiles to see it even if your line of site is further. So a grid search every 5 columns is what I usually do of all tundra spaces. You can visually check what tundra looks like by hovering over an enemy base and seeing whether it's in the tundra vs plains (but if on hill it will always say hill).

Its one hexagone, it might be hard to see, but check the compound from a town, you will understand.
