Armor Piercing Whips
I've been having some fun with setting up a brother to maximize his ability to inflict whip bleeding through armor. For reference, in order for a whip to inflict bleeding, it must do at least 6 damage to hitpoints. This is usually impossible unless the target has zero armor to begin with, due to the whips abysmal armor penetration, 10% for battle whips and 20% for thorned whips, and low damage. As armor blocks piercing damage equal to 10% of its current durability, causing bleed through the armor means maximizing both the whips armor pen, and its raw damage.

With a normal brother and a thorned whip, you can get it so that bleeding is inflicted against 24-80 points of armor, depending on the damage roll. This of course requires double grip and duelist, but is pretty darn handy, as it lets you inflict bleeding on light targets like gunners and arbalesters straight through undamaged armor, and I think adds a lot of utility to a whip user.

Ideally you'd have someone who is a massive drunkard, which as I understand it both give multiplicative 1.1 damage modifiers, letting you apply bleeding through 40 to 110 points of armor, which sounds amazing.

If you've never tried this setup, I'd highly recommend it, and I'm wondering if this is something others have played around with much.

This isn't something I've messed around with.

I have had some famed Whips with +damage or +armor ignore, but haven't ever specifically built a Duelist Whip guy.

I guess any Duelist Cleaver guy can add in QH not just for accessible Disarm utility, but maybe to try and cheese a kill like this if the opportunity presents itself. Then maybe a Goblin Pike or Longaxe to get a little more mileage out of QH as well.
