End of campaign ?
Hello guys !

I just hit Day 165 and i beat the late game crisis. A event show up telling me i can end the campaing and continue to play will be pretty easy and out of challenge. So i assume that I "finished" the game and I can start another campaign ? Continue to play doesn't make any sense ?

Sorry for the English i'm French. Thanks !

It's up to you what goals you set for your campaign. Some examples:

- Retiring after 1-2 crises is very common
- You could try to tackle a legendary location like the Goblin City or Black Monolith
- Playing a campaign for Steam achievements is a thing
- Some play for hundreds of days with the goal to build an absolute imba company that destroys everything without breaking a sweat

So it's really your own choice. Personally I like to play for either 1-2 crises or to clear a legendary location, usually Black Monolith. Getting all Steam achievements was also fun for me.

Finishing the first crisis is considered one full run of the game. But there is stuff to experience after that if you want to keep going. A new crisis will generate, and there are also optional challenges to find. The game will continue to scale.

This isn't exactly true - there are others challenges to tackle, just like the others have pointed out. And you can always choose to go out in a blaze of glory rather than simply leaving the company to gather dust in an old save file.

There are not only legendary locations but also far-away camps that can spawn some ridiculously powerful garrisons which are way more difficult than what you faced in the crisis.
Depending on the DLC that you own there are different possibilities for both legendary encounters and powerful camps - if you're on the base game Orcs are probably the toughest, if you have the DLC last I played massed Barbarian Chosen with accompanying troops were considered the toughest encounter in the entire game.

Even in the basic game you can give yourself other challenges - just declare war on the civilised world and see how much damage you can do to the uptight nobles before your bunch of omnicidal maniacs gets put down. Good times are waiting to be had!\

P.S. Et ton anglais n'est pas mal ;]

To summ it up and reiterate one crisis isnt late or even mid game content by any means less so peak chalenge in adition that by coincidence, equipment and rng your first one and related enemys may have felt easy in a way but you coud run another 5 days and encounter something campaing breakin , that said is up to you , your goals , and liking what to face and how long to go , some like early game to first crisis , others go for a min of 3 to call it a real campaing and ofc others like to continue on for more than 500 /1000+ days

Thanks for the tips guys ! Good to know !

I finally re-started a new campaign with the Cultists in Medium/Medium/High (Previous one was beginner/beginner/high) And ALT+F4 at least 20 times. The new campaign is in IronMan mode so i guess now i'm starting the really play the game like "the right manner" !

See you soon for further questions ! :D (Oh and, I have a bro with 3* in Melee and 3* in Mdefense, what a good start !!!)
