Art? Fart! Consume product!
Instant Edit: Actually, sarcasm aside, there's a reason Overhype can put up a supporter DLC and rake in cash on it; and it's not mindless consumerism.
I will add: some campaign where you just add up "objectives like" amass gold, get 3 donkeys for caravan... get this and that would prolong and make campaign unique,
Or..different type of campaigns where you could have for example: have 5 rangers to attain 50 or 100kills that unlock bonuses to accuracy, damage or other.
There are also games with a campaign I didn't buy because they don't have an 'Endless' mode - like 'They are Billions' or 'Northguard'.
So you can't just add sales from players who like campaign focused games. You will lose others too.
You mean, like the ambitions system? Amass X gold, buy a wagon (got replaced in BD), craft X items, raid X Goblin camps,...
Nice unique ideas there, you should monetise them.

As the man said: I was banned for being rude. It was totally justified.
=)
I think They are Billions does have an endless mode. I own it, but have not played it yet. I'm pretty sure, the endless mode is what people prefer, as the campaign got mediocre reviews.
There are random maps where you have to prepare for the final, giant zombie horde and there is the campaign. Both are not endless.
Personally I enjoyed the campaign a lot, but it has some design flaws. Definitely look up tech tree paths before you play it as it is very possible to softlock progress with th wrong tech choices. Regarding missoin selection you should rush any hero missions you can get for the research points and avoid Cape Storm & The Narrow Pass until you're ready. Cape Storm needs Shock Towers or Lucifers, the pass becomes much easier with points in the bottom supply chain.
Random maps used to be fun until Mutants got introduced.
