Hunting grounds

I've spent probably 60 game days looking for it in every tundra tile I can think of. Killing as I go so not a total waste but still. Is it always in the tundra? Is it ever in the middle of the map north-south or in the snow?

The Hunting Grounds are in the tundra area, the brownish strip of land between snow and the greener middle-to-south part of the map. It can be hard to spot because its discovery box is a bit smaller than your sighting radius -- which means that in some contexts you can walk past it. If you share the seed, maybe someone here can help you to find it...

I never had any trouble finding it since it's usually out in the open it's not as stressful as witch hut to find. Comb all the tundra at daytime and maybe prioritize the woods if there's any?

It's QUOQZPVDXD. Yeah, pretty sure I've been within 4 tiles of all tundra at least twice, but could have missed it if I had to be directly adjacent or on top.

I've had that issue too in the past. It's out there! Keep on searching and don't forget to check not only the wilderness but also the "civilized" tundra.

yep, i get this every game. the hunt for the hunting ground. Can cost a lot of time. or can cost a looooooot of time!
