I think all the information you need is there. The guy was named "The Scimitar," and he was one of those named Champions who hit like a truck. He broke my body armor and then my body in 2 shots. But I had Indomitable on - that was what was shocking.
If you lost a lvl 31 bro that's on you for being careless.
Nope. 90 HPs; I run a true Ironman, so no front-liner has such low HPs, as survivability is first and foremost.

Either way, they're champions, and should be tough SoBs. Shame you had no surgeon.
That could possibly be what happened. It's just that I never expected to be two-shot with Indomitable on on a healthy guy with full armor. But a good lesson.
He was a disposable guy though - even though he was a level 31. Other than my Lone Wolf and the original free Squire, everyone else who is currently fighting are temporary characters until my reserve guys gain enough Events (Combat Drill, Brawler Teaches, Farmer Old Tricks) and become ready to rock. I do have a Surgeon, but the Hedge Knight already had a Brain Injury and Lost Eye. So he was due.
Yeah, seems plausible.
Champion Executioner has at least +35% damage. With a hypothetical famed 2h hammer with maxed damage roll + maxed armor ignore, damage can reach ridiculous values. Wouldn't even need to hit the head.
I don't remember; but since I was crushed, it probably was a blunt weapon?
Underrail is at the deep end of the same problem
Might also have been duelist headshots with an armor pen + damage rolled famed 1h. I've built a duelist who once managed to 2 shot a famed 80 HP BF bro in one turn in a Hexen fight this way.
Hey at least BB is fun.
