Fun fight. Just by concentrating on killing the weaker mobs i managed to get a cascade morale failure and finally had the 2 hedge knights and bandit leader on the run before i even get in melee with them.
Had to pursue them with dogs just to prevent them getting away alive haha!
It was over day 100 thought...
I've had 3-skull nomad contracts with relatively low numbers of nomads and nomad types that ended up with 'Twists'. 2-3k reward, Ifrits.
Or undead and a bunch of necromancers, that one was pretty fun though.
Camps sometimes have more enemies as supposed when they are close to spawning a patrol.
My guess is the leader was part of the soon to be patrol while the necromancer was part of the contract.
If you still got a save file from that moment, do me a favor and wait 1-2 days in vision rang to the camp and wait if a patrol spawns from there and get back after that.
If the quest have 2 or 3 skulls you have a greater chance to meet a Necro with the bandits.
Yes, the point was there was a Necro AND bandit leader there.
My bad then.
