any easy way to kill ifrit?
I’m using shield front+two hand long weapon back line which take a very long time to kills these ifrit.

Any one has a better way to take down these annoying ifrit?

My tip is don’t use bow or two hand heavy armor against these ifrit. Crossbow is okay.

So far mace weapons are my go to. I proceed like you, stuff my frontline with shield brothers, my backline uses pole-maces or billhooks on my berserk backliners and my ranged units have throwing axes. It takes time but its efficient and I usually have no losses or even serious injuries.

I just use nimble party with 2h hammers and maces. Stay away from large ones, focus small pieces down one at a time. There is no fast way to deal with them but if done property you'd get away with minimum dmg. I suggest only taking them on midgame and up.

Focus the small ones, surround them when you approach, don't use piercing weapons, and don't let low MDF characters tank. You just wail on them with your heaviest weapons as they are trying to beat up your toughest tanks. It's a good ol' scrap without any special abilities allowed by yourself; so just bring big heavy weapons that do a lot of damage without needing any fancy setup. That said if you don't have the stats it will hurt.

I freaking hate these guys. They are not hard at all - just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time-consuming and boring. A poor encounter design.

Maces and hammers, hammers and maces. Kill the little ones before they become big ones. Kill them with maces and hammers. They are rocks, after all.

Two handed Scimitar is my fav. Decapitate can do upwards of 160 damage. And Ifrits don't really have much armor so it's a win win for me.

Maces and hammers are good. I like the polemace because I can stun and smash from a distance.

To remove the head is a secondary effect of Decapitate, the primary effect is to amplify damage.

Ya dang trickster! I will decapitate you for this! This is obviously a joke, because I realise the irony in making a death threat as a joke; could be read as serious. When I responded seriously to a joke. Don't ban me mods, I do not intend to decapitate anyone.

I'll throw a net at you and then rotate repeatedly: giving you a morale break.

Wait if you see that you don't have enough damage output to kill them before their turn. Every merge/split heals them to full.
