Like most anti-malware software, Malwarebytes employs a heuristic to look for suspicious bits of code and will alert the user if it finds any, regardless of whether that code is in actuality malign or not. It's called a false positive, and that's exactly what you're seeing. Unfortunately we don't have any control over what different anti-virus software considers suspicious and alerts to, and it changes quite often.
You may want to add the game's executable to the exception list of Malwarebytes to avoid it interfering with the game.
