Pimp Background

So I just recruited a pimp through a world event. A man and a woman are arguing over how easy/hard it is to sell her body. You (the captain) are horny and ready to give it a go and you get two main choices of saying that pimps provide protection or that the sellwhore seems to be capable of taking care of herself. I had a third choice of letting my monk bro intervene and he told the pimp that he would make a better mercenary than a snake-toungued pimp which gave me the choice to accept the pimp into the company.

So now I have a pimp with some noble clothes and a feathered hat. His stats are mainly low end but his two def stats are at 10 and 11, which is nice. I have stars in all the right areas, one each in fatigue, melee atk and melee def.

Has anyone else had a pimp and are there any events that his background can affect?

I've never gotten him. Last time I had that event my Minstrel got to play love connection.

Might start toting around a Monk in the future or next run though.

Monks have lots of event effects, and it seems that most of them are positive. Because of this I have kept my monk bro around at a low level and severely handicapped from permanent injuries. One of the best bench bros out there.

I tend to run with cultists over monks and flaggs, but I might make a do-gooder merc group at some point and load it up with nice peoples.
