- They tend to spawn around forests away from towns. I found them by a forest towards the edge of the map.
-Their tracks are the same as the direwolves.
-Bring a lot of food when going on an expedition to find them. Also have max tools.
The fight:
-Melee single attack abilities from your bros will trigger an acid splash which takes out 10% of helm armor and 10% of chest armor per turn for 3 turns. The dot affect will refresh upon striking again.
-Because of this, archers and two tile two handers (polearms, long axes) do well since they won't get the acid splash.
-It doesn't look like aoe abilities from two hander weapons trigger the melee acid splash. From what I recall, greatsword's ability "split" didn't trigger it. I will test this more thoroughly the next time I fight them.
Loot:
So far I have only seen lindwurm jewelry to sell and acid flasks.
