Thanks! I see it now, kind of embarrassing I missed it. Yeah probably worth it if the war is almost over and it's not a small faction asking.
So the reputation was reset to neutral after the war, but they tried to get revenge on you in some way later? Not sure what you mean.
Yeah they gave me a constract and then after I detroyed the Orc camp , an event with a fight against one of their armies triggered.
Huh interesting. Definitely adds some risk. I chose not to again but mostly because the house asking is losing.
some events have randomised ending which you cant affect.
like caravan event with prisoner of war, he may be noble and reward you 3k gold or he may laing and just run from you without paying.
as for that particular event OP talking - i would recomend making choica based on your map
if map is big, factions are separated from each other by big distances, rivers and faction A have enough villges to offer you steady work you can accept their offer without much trouble.
p.s. houses cant really "lose" a noble war -they all just bunch of idiots after all
By losing I mean they've lost territory and have only a few spread out settlements left, so yeah it would be a pain to be restricted to them for any length of time.
Also, you're saying the faction can betray you for no reason at all? Seems like you'd have to do something to piss them off.
