Rebuilding destroyed cities
Hi everyone,

In one of my campaigns the ork invasion managed to destroy one big city and a minor settlement next to this city. I received a message like the one when settlment changes houses in the noble war.
My question is: is there a chance the destroyed city can be rebuild or is this lost for ever in this campaign?

Lost forever. I am not sure if every city can be destroyed though. Like in the civil war the last settlement of a noble house cannot be captured. Not sure if that means it also cannot be destroyed.

theres an option when you create the campaign to disable permanent destruction. did you pick it?

I did not. I was just wondering if the noble house would rebuild the City. Looks like they dont. Would be a nice Feature to have for future Updates.

I think it's intended to add meaning to the conflict. They actually nerfed the crises to make them less punishing, though. I am torn. It makes things interesting/challenging in one sense, but I don't like babysitting cities. I had turned off perm destruction for awhile because a city instantly went from full health to destroyed as viewed from another part of the map. Unsure if it was a bug or 4 armies attacking at once, but it had turned me off to perm destruction.

A semi-permanent destruction would be a nice option, like after 80 days or what have you after destruction, contracts to help rebuild a settlement start showing up at near by settlements.

This please devs. Permanent destruction is too punishing and no destruction leaves the crises with little consequences; this would be a good middle ground.
