Then the time came to fight a barbarian king. I thought I was being real clever by sending him to tank. After all, he has survivor. It would be so much more efficient to use the water skin to cure two permanent injuries!

Yeah, I was not that clever.
You played it very smart and I love your creative builds.
I am a much less patient player than you, and when that barb king was down to a couple HP I was flipping out. I would have dropped every. single. dog. to make sure he died before he got any more attacks off on the (very cool) BS tank. I also was pulling my hair out when you didn't move the 2h mace up to attack + adrena + attack :D
Useless backseating, as I think your strat was good. You made much smarter moves than I would have several times. I remember thinking I wanted to spearwall vs. the incoming thralls. You chose to shieldwall, which was definitely the right choice, as they're actually more threatening with throwables than they are moving into melee.
I think you are right, I should've been much more aggressive there. The mace/adrenaline fisherman was specifically going to deal with the king, I even positioned him one hex away from the king. The main reason why I wasn't more aggressive is that I was really invested in my scheme to cure multiple permanent injuries on that beast slayer. I figured he had such a good chance of being struck down. Oh well, won't make that mistake next time.
