Kraken

Has anyone found a kraken yet? I've gone through the entire map few times now but still nowhere to be seen.

I found stone pillars, a lady there sent me to get 3 more unhold hides than you have (small amount of testing, 0, 3, 6 hides held when first speaking), and then she'll make a lure for it.
Unfortunately seems it is buggy or something else is required as I can no longer activate the location.

I brought over 10 unhold hides. Can't interact with the pillars still.

I think it means almost none has seen him yet

Probably due to bugs. I don't think ppl who visited the stone pillars usually have enough hides.

I'm currently on the fight right now. It's taking forever--it's not hard, just sloooooooooooooow

It might be a little bugged. There doesn't seem to be any way to hurt him except by killing tentacles, which does 15/1000000000 (apparently) damage to him.

And yes, the stone pillars has a 2 part fetch quest to get to the fight.

If anyone knows an easier way to kill him, let me know.

Just beat it. Then the game crashed before showing me loot.

Worst fight in the game by far. Really dull. Not very challenging. But maybe it's currently broken.

It's not a roaming mob, you have to find the stone circle and do the 2 quests.

But I'm on day ~200 or so atm

I got Horn Plates and Tentacles from it, the latter is used for the Oblivion Potion (which allows you to reset perks of any character). I didn't find any recipes that require horn plates so either you need a lot of them or something's broken in the game.

And after you kill Kraken for the first time it will sometimes spawn randomly around the map.

Found it. Turns out I didn't have enough nachzehrer horns and glowing resin, and that's after defeating two Krakens...

Yeah, I've beatten several krakens on of my super long runs. They usually take some time to spawn after beating one. And I think that only one per map can exist simultaneously, so you'll have to wait a bit after beating one for sure.

Nice... always in a swamp I would assume. Curious what they look like on the world map too.
