Absolutely agree that living tree shield should have some regen. I think it should auto regen to full after every battle as well.
i agree but looking crazy dope is not gonna improve my bros' life span
at some point, you gotta ask yourself... is life really worth living without fashion?
I also completely agree that a living tree shield should be alive and regenerate. Orcs have always been the bane of named shields and a counter would be nice.
It's best-suited for goblin ambusher spam. It's going to be better than the standard (bone) attachment for any situation where you get hit by arrows more than 5 times before your armor is gone from those arrows or other factors.... that would be ambusher spam. May help avoid an injury from a crossbow as well, but not a huge effect there, a similar recipe is for reducing armor penetration at 33% magnitude instead of 20%, the idea apparently being crossbow and dagger special hits.
They could probably both use a small buff. After goblin city I'd be tempted to just replace the white cloaks.
Additional fur padding is super niche as well. Perhaps useful in midgame to protect against crossbows, but useless once you get 300+ armor. It doesn't protect against headshots, which are the biggest danger. It's useful vs daggers, but there aren't many scary dagger - wielding enemies. A +15 or +10 durability here would also be quite nice.
Ofc it does! Just like RGB lights on your RAM make it faster!
This is common knowledge!
red makes everything faster!
Living tree shield isnt bad, its actually pretty gud until you get some doped named shields, it also isnt that hard to make (by around turn 200 i had 4 bois whit one having lost 1 to orc axe spam and also having resources to make a couple more) if you take certain beast hunting contracts you can get one whit schratchs in it and they usualy spawn in the area of the contract (i got around 10 in mutliple groups in 1 contract so isnt that bad), might be luck tho.
Otherwise i agree, aside from looking like badass son of a betch there isnt much to the cloak, fur pading is i think also useless as there isnt that many enemies whit hammer and maces around.
That cloak tho
