throw away items from inventory

I have trouble equiping my guys with correct gear because I have too many items in my inventory. is there any way to throw away some usless staff?

can't. any settlement is at least 2 days walk and I need to keep on fighting.

After a battle, throw the stuff you don't want into the loot screen. It's the only time you get things anyway.

I swaped my 2h eapons for shield and 1h weapon and after the battle my inventpry got maxed and now I want to swap back to 2h weapons but have no space to do so

Drop one item from main inventory to free up a slot to more stuff around. I always try to never give my guys more than they can carry and swap to, so if 2 items in hand (sword and shield), you need at least 1 free slot if you switch to a 1H weapon as the other two go into inventory.
