Golden goose: keep or sell?
I kept seeing all these comments on the BB seed website referencing the location of the golden goose on map seeds, all this hype about how amazing and important it was. Finally found it and Im pretty underwhelmed.

15 crowns a day... Seriously? I thought it was going to be something actually impressive. Is it best to sell it or keep it? By my math it would take 200 days for it to generate its sell value of 3,000. Is this item related to any special event or something that makes it important to keep? Thanks!

Keep it for as long as you can unless you desperatly need the money in that moment.

You can ALWAYS sell it and unless that single inventory space isn't hurting you, why not have it generate more money?

+1. Sell it when you need the extra cash to purchase a unique weapon, for instance.

I keep it but I tend to play a run threw well into 2 or 3 years so in the long run I get more money.

it has no events ... just sell it

3000 gold now is more valuable than 3000+ gold later

Golden Goose nets 15 gold per day, you can sell it for 3500 average or 5000 if you wait until there are good events in allied big town/citadel. So its only worth not selling if you plan to keep playing for more than 330 days from the point you found it

It's amazing if you find it early and can invest it. It bought me half an amazing (day 10) hedge knight once.
Otherwise, sell it when you see a good price.

1.Keep it in your inventory for a while.
2.Wait till a citadel you're allied with has ambushed trade routes.
3.Sell it for a nice, sweet amount of gold.

Just look at the golden goose as paying for one of your men's wages. Subtract 15 from the total amount of crowns you're shelling out on wages. It's not much, but it does help.

I keep it until I find a city with ambushed trade routes. The only Origin I keep the thing is Lone Wolf since he doesn't need the boost to early-game money and its a passive income since the LW has no wages.

Sell it, early gold is worth too much to pass by!
