You get 20 roster slots, you don't just build everyone toward one ideal. You can be successful doing all sorts of things.
Maybe instead tell us how you are currently building your team and/or what you struggle against and we can try and offer some advice.
With 45mdef 85hp 115fat 320/320 legendary they are on godlike mod.
My core perks : recover / brawny / underdog / colossus / battleforged / indomitable / frenzy / (rotation) and the two last depend on my stuff/role /stars.
About rotation, lot of player didnt like it or prefer footwork. I take rotation on everyone exept ranged (footwork). I cant play without it, like drugs my bros dies if i dont use it
Edit, i have tried nimble 2H, i didnt find them more reliable.
Battleforged.
If you want high damage builds then generally you are looking at AoE (Area of Effect) 2Handers. Greatsword, Hammer, Bardiche are all great. Ideal stat line is 90+ skill, 30+ defense but you can also manage with less. Defensive core is either Colossus + Nimble or Brawny + Forge. And throw in Indomitable for good measure. You'll want Berserk and Recover.
Alternative high damage builds include Duelists or single target 2hander (Mansplitter, Greataxe, Mace).
Basically the less shield bros you are running the easier time you are going to have cleaving through enemy hordes.
Yes, but it should be a supertank, basically. To make effective use of riposte you need amazing defense and decent attack because you want to be surrounded and the only one engaged with the enemies, with high enough melee attack to actually hit them.
Amazing defense would include recover+adrenaline then indomitable+riposte cycles, >30 base melee defense before shields but 40 is significantly better. 38 was enough for the upper army of black monolith soloing and surviving (i.e. the tank soloed the guys coming from the top)
The legendary lightning sword just makes the damage done much better.
Very effective, but it does get repetitive and boring if you have too many doing it ...
does anyone have advice on how to build this guy? His stars seem really good, can I do anything with him?
